Our Story
Ethora started in Surat, which most people in the textile industry know as the fabric capital of India. A huge amount of the country’s fabric is produced here, and I have been part of that industry for years through Pahal Silk Mills, our textile manufacturing unit.
Running a manufacturing business gives you a very clear view of how the fashion supply chain works. You see the quality of the fabric up close. You know what goes into making a good saree or a well-stitched kurta. And after years of being on the production side, I felt it was the right time to build something directly for the people who wear this clothing.
That is how Ethora came to be.
Why We Started Ethora
The Indian women’s fashion market is huge, but it is also cluttered. There are thousands of sellers online, but very few brands that genuinely care about quality and actually understand the product they are selling.
We do. We come from manufacturing. We know our fabrics, we know our craft, and we want to bring that directly to you without any middlemen in between.
When you buy from Ethora, you are buying from the source.

About the Founder
I am the founder of Ethora and the proprietor of Pahal Silk Mills, Surat.
I have spent years in the textile manufacturing business and have seen the industry from the inside. Starting Ethora is my way of taking everything I have learned about quality fabric and Indian fashion and putting it directly in the hands of the women who wear it.
This is not just a business for me. It is something I genuinely care about.
About Pahal Silk Mills
Pahal Silk Mills is our textile manufacturing unit in Surat, Gujarat. If you know anything about the Indian fabric industry, you know Surat is at the center of it. A huge share of the country’s textile production happens right here, and we have been part of that for years.
Our unit works with a range of fabrics including silk, georgette, cotton blends, and embroidered materials. We understand the craft from the ground up, which is exactly why Ethora exists. We are not resellers. We make the fabric, we know the quality, and now we are bringing it directly to you.
